When reviewing biomechanical information the sheer volume of content can be overwhelming to any user. In a clinical setting, this has been a hallmark problem for biomechanics. Time for review needs to be taken into consideration, which spawned the DARI Clinical Data Model (CDM).
In the CDM, DARI worked with HSS to develop this tool. Their feedback gave DARI the information to create a data reduction methodology that helps streamline the understanding of performance and quality through the objective lens of biomechanics. Topics like movement categorization, variable groupings and definitions create a simple and impactful review. This tool takes millions of processed data points and provides clinical users with the most impactful 132 points. It is a beautiful thing.
